We've launched a new feature, Vintage Suds, in which we recap old episodes of our favorite shows. If you have a link to an episode you'd like us to recap, post it here. Other readers, feel free to weigh in with your thoughts about linked episodes.

If the episode you want us to tackle isn't available online but you have an old tape of it, email us at SerialDrama@gmail.com and we'll arrange for you to send us a copy.

If we recap an episode you submit, we'll give you a shout-out in the post. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Jack and Jen's Wild West Wedding! Nothing will ever top the cheesey goodness of that show.

(Or anything with the Love Fern.)

If i had my old tapes - i would so ask you to do a mike/carrie episode. LOVED them. I will admit i struggled with the recast for a bit - but got into him after awhile (they needed to de-soars him) to do that hook up. And it was magic. The diner scene, the stallion scene, the swing dance scene, 4th of july kiss, sick/snake bit scene. It was utter soapiness. Friends, then he loved her while she still loved austin (ugh) then he started dating and she got jealous. Then a love scene while she was married to austin (i mean goody goody carrie cheating) - i was amazed.

If someone passes you one of those - please do a review. I will hunt around as well.

Virtually all of Mike and Carrie's relationship happened during one of my Days hiatuses, so it would be interesting to recap an episode from during that time. I must admit I never came around to that Mike recast; Michael Weiss is forever Mike Horton to me.

Next up on the agenda is a GH episode (Stone's death), but the NBC soaps are going to get a lot of attention thanks to my random tapes.

::gulp:: Stone's death? ::gulp:: Oh, man. I've sort of been avoiding watching that during my nightly youtube screenings of Sonny and Brenda clips. It's like going to a High School reunion, or so I would assume. Saaaad.

I have a couple questions: Do the recaps have to be from complete episodes, because it's nearly impossible to find a whole show as the clipper usually edits for [a] specific character[s]? Plus, are you willing to do shows from before you started watching, like Bo and Hope's heyday or The Ice Princess wackieness (come on, you know the hair, alone, is worth it's weight in laughs). So much of it is on youtube, I just don't know if it's complete.

I know this is from waaaay before you started watching GH...it's before I started in 1981. But online is a 3-parter from 1979 when Monica gives birth to A.J. Main players are Monica, Lesley, Gail Baldwin, Alan, Rick with appearances by Bobbie, original Edward, Tracey, Mitch (can't remember his last name), the Quartermaine's housekeeper Stella, and a few others I don't know.

It's not a complete episode, only the scenes related to A.J.'s birth, but it's very dramatic, VERY soapy, and made of awesome! Denise Alexander (Lesley) rocked these scenes!

Here are the links if you're interested:

Have you ladies considered recapping Luke and Laura spending the night in Wyndham's department store? I know it was years ago, but I loved that episode at the time.

(I wouldn't have the sligh-*test*-('") idea where to find it now, though)

Yikes, Lauren, so sorry not to have responded to this earlier!

We would prefer to do full episodes, because they are a more fair representation of the overall show. But if we run out of those, we'll probably switch to clips.

And we are totally willing to do shows from before we were watching, or ones we never watched at all. The recaps will have a different tone than those from the shows we watched, obviously, but we think they would be fun!

Everyone who has emailed us with offers of tapes/DVDs, we are truly appreciative and will be getting back to you soon. We're just trying to work out the small matter of where you send the tapes to. For a couple of Type A girls, we somehow didn't plan out that issue.
