I would pay obscene-and I do mean REALLY OFFENSIVE-amounts of money to, just ONCE, see Robin look at him and go, "You know what, motherfucker? You yell at me like that ONE MORE TIME, and I will castrate you w/the pair of Manolos in my locker! I'm already pregnant-and it is your baby, but don't worry, b/c I would rather raise this baby w/Faison than w/you, you self-absorbed, shallow, juvenile, unprofessional, spiteful, mean-spirited, hateful piece of shit! Alexis will be in touch about the Termination of Parental Rights documentation, and my Uncle Mac will be in touch about the restraining order! Oh, and the very DEFINITION of unprofessional is hooking up w/your SUBORDINATE, IN THE WORKPLACE, and then throwing one of your little diva fits and taking it out on ME, ANOTHER CO-WORKER, b/c said subordinate is also preparing to fuck ANOTHER COLLEAGUE! Grow up, bitch!" And then I want her to kick him in the junk and punch him in the face. And then go hook up w/Leo in one of the exam rooms....but only after he cuts his g-d hair!

Apologies to the Patrick haters, but I loved todays scene with Patrick finding out about Robin's baby.

Marianne , your post made my day!
Leo is looking better and better as the assholery continues i just wish they'd let the stylist that has been hacking at all the girls bangs lately at his ponytail!!!

I loved it. I thought Jason Thompson did a fantastic job -- that "holy shit, it's really over" look was perfect.
I adore Kimberly McCullough, but for the sake of viewers' vision nationwide she needs to knife the next stylist that aims scissors at her bangs.

It's effing crazy! I was just thinking how good it was that they seemed to be growing out and here are they are short again! I mean she's my favorite but the hair on this show lately is just BAD.

Sigh. When you mentioned Becky Herbst's bangs in the "week in review" I had the same thought about Kim.
I adore her, but ARGH the hair. Especially when I see older clips when it was dark, all one color with no bangs.
Maybe we can have Kate Howard stage an intervention. Even with the tragic loss of the bob, she still looks great.

Oh, no, I agree, it was AWESOME. Unfortunately, he then ruined it by being all about Leyla and Skeevy Doc 2.5 seconds later. Now, I get that he believes it's over-that's classic soap, and I can deal. But a LITTLE grieving would have been nice. But I really loved the scene, otherwise-I guess Patdick let BeyondReasonPatrick, along with Awesome Writer, out of the closet for a few minutes. Unfortunately, based on the montage, I think that we are now in for minimal Robin airtime and focus, with that being replaced by the awesomeness (only not really) that is the Patrick/Leyla/Ian "um, triangle?" Save it on your dvr ladies-that may be the last of the good for quite a while.

I KNOW! It so was! And did you catch the look on Robin's face when Patrick kissed the side of her head? I mean, Kimberly didn't even NEED dialogue-that expression said it all. She is made of awesome. But the hair.....oh, the hair......please, Kimberly, no more bangs. I beg of you. As a rabid fan, I can defend almost any action Robin takes, I can defend almost any fashion choice you make.....but I am sorry to report that I can no longer condone the blatant evil of the bangs.

OMG when I saw they trimmed poor Kimberly McCullough's bangs, I wanted to weep. For her, for me, and for the stylist who thinks fugly bangs are the bes-*test*-('") trend ever and is forcing them on practically every female cast member.

I could be wrong (please see the blog about unwarranted optimism with this story) but I don't think it will be played that way. The look on Patrick's face when he thought it was really and truly over with Robin was like someone knifed him in the guts.
The look about Leyla was more about him not being the hot doc on the block anymore (YES, I know that there is nowhere in real planet earth where Ian could overshadow Patrick, but I'm trying to see this from the pont of view of General Hospital world. I don't recommend staying long.)
Of course, GH's ability to both appall and embitter me is well solidified, so I might be back on here tomorrow ready to lay waste to half of my town in soap opera rage.

filegirl, stay AWAY from GH world-if you stay too long, you will be wearing ugly blouses, ugly bangs, screeching like a banshee, and drawing little purple hearts with "I LOVE SONNY AND JASON!" in balloon letter in them.
Further, I get what you're saying-that COULD be the way they are going to go w/the story, and I pray to all of the soap gods that it is. But, as you said, I have a tendency, with the storylines on this show, to think of the worst possible scenario, multiply it by 1,000,000, and expect THAT to be what happens. But, hey, we could get lucky and Awesome Writer will finally snap, take the whole place hostage, and demand that they allow him to write Sweeps before anyone can go home.

What's bittersweet about that even remotely happening is that it would be great for many people but I will probably die of a coronary.

So, my heart totally pitter-pattered today when Patrick hotly defended Robin to McSkeevy but for the love of God could someone please do something to help my girl KMc's hair!

Marianne, this is one of the single best posts evuh!
I also have a big problem with Robin keeping all this secret. At best it's a total disregard for character history and Robin's moral code. She is fearless in her regard for the truth, often at great personal cost, so it makes no sense for her to keep this secret. At worst it's blatant character assassination to elevate Carly and her past actions re Michael's paternity at the expense of Robin by having her behave just as badly.
However, character motivation and history aside, it simply makes NO SENSE. What is the big deal with telling Patrick about the kid? He's stated repeatedly that he does not want children. She's stated repeatedly that she wants to raise her child using a donor, with no input from the father. Moreover, *Patrick* was the one who was dishonest about the broken condom making it impossible for Robin to take the morning after pill if she wanted to do so. So what's the big deal with telling him "I'm pregnant; You're the father; I'll have Alexis draw up a legal agreement wherein you agree to give up all parental rights and I agree never to hold you accountable either emotionally or financially.
Guza is such an idiot.
