This is why I disagree with the way they are handling this storyline. I think Patrick has been acting like an ass but Robin doesn't tell lies about this sort of thing. It's not that she's a saint, she just always believes a father should know his kid. She didn't know Robert and Anna were her parents until she was 7 and that hurt her then!

I think they are writing this all wrong for her but the LAST thing she derserves is to have Carly involved in any way. That's not justice because Carly is a lying harpy and doesn't warrant another victory. She always gets what she wants at no cost to herself. Why couldn't they show one freaking happy moment with Robin and her family celebrating this pregnancy before they threw Carly in her path? They could have done something awesome after losing Georgie so tragically with her telling Mac and Maxie and having some family time. They are also making this all about Patrick which is completely annoying.

I don't think the analogy of "killing a killer isn't murder" is correct in this instance. In Robin's case we have a woman who has only just discovered her pregnancy. She is keeping the paternity info a secret but it's not clear this is a long-term plan. In fact, given her nature it's likely she will ultimately tell Patrick. She is still processing the information; taking a few weeks to do so until she decides what to do is a FAR cry from Carly's deliberate actions. Carly actively decided to deprive a father (twice) of a wanted baby and kept that secret for over a year.

Most women do not reveal their pregnancy until the third trimester -- there's too much hormonal turmoil and possibility of miscarriage. Robin didn't have that luxury because *everyone* knows she's pregnant and chooses to announce it daily at the nurse's station. I don't have a problem with initially deciding to keep quiet given Patrick's outspokeness. If she *continued* to lie past the first few months, then you might have some sort of argument. (Even then, I think you're comparing apples and oranges.)

Which, technically, Michael is. And CARLY called Jake a bastard-which, technically, he is. And Robin is having her own "bastard" now. So what's the point? And if by "riding a high moral horse" you mean she wouldn't let Carly continue to go on w/her babynapping spree, she wouldn't allow Sonny to kill Manny in the hospital, she wouldn't just sit back while Jason killed people for fun and profit and continue to live as an accomplice to that.....then I guess I'm on a high moral horse, too, b/c I would say something about those things too, had I been in that position. But that's just me.

Just as ironic to me was today's PSA about heart health. There's something unintentionally funny about Nurse Epiphany lecturing the audience on preventing heart disease. Sorry if that's in bad taste! I'm not as thin as I should be, but then I also don't do PSAs on heart health!

How tired am I of Sonny? I don't even know what else to add because it's exhausting watching him have the same storyline for years and say the same lines about putting the people he loves in danger with his choice of work yet still try to pin blame on someone else!

The resolution is still that he shows up at the Zacchara's shooting!! There's a lesson for the audience. An eye for an eye works everytime. Let's have a PSA on revenge killing. Unreal.

Loved Maxie vs Lulu. Both have a point and i can see why they stand where they do. Julie Berman was great when lulu was losing it on the roof. Maxie going to kill Logan is great. I do not endorse the violence this show airs, however, it works in this situation. She thinks he killed her sister and boyfriend, and tried to kill her.

SwanSinger, you and me both. I've been thinking for a long while about doing a post on actors' weight but it's a pretty taboo subject since we're usually allowed to criticize their performances but not their physicality.

We as a society are becoming obese. FAT is rapidly becoming the number one killer -- over cancer, over heart disease. We are killing our children because we sedate them with tv and food. Then we have SE on tv as Epiphany handing out PSAs on heart disease? How about ONE LINE of dialogue having the doctor tell her that her weight is KILLING her? How about a single indication that it's NOT OKAY to be 350lbs? Nope, GH pats itself on the back for helping heart disease by using the worst possible person as an example and not stating WHY she is a prime target for heart disease (age and race). Frankly, the only reason I think they did the PSA at all was because Campbell's was sponsoring it and gave them a big fat paycheck for because they want a big paycheck from Campbell's for the product placement.

I was overweight for several years. I finally had to just deal with it and lose 60 pounds because I don't want to be attached to an oxygen tank when I'm 65. I know how hard it is to lose weight and start exercising and certainly don't think we should mock fat people but man, can't we hold up better examples? Or at least show that being fat isn't cute or cuddly or sweet but lethal?! Can't we show people with real curves instead of either anorexics or behemoths?

I can't stand how he's wielding a gun in a hospital!! He overreacts to every situation and it's always with over-the-top aggression/violence. Enough already!

Can't wait till he finds out his spawn is the reason Kate's losing her life...
