I read some rumor saying that Guza has until November to get ratings up or he's gone, but I'm sure that just some other outraged fan dreaming on the internets. As long as Guza has the goods on Frons, we are stuck with him, aren't we?

The only way that scene would have made sense would have been if she had followed it up with a "I have you to thank for my happiness because I can now recognize a grade A loser like you at ten paces and know how to avoid them. So props to you!" and the importance of coming to her wedding was to start a gun fight becuase she really dreamed of a Wild West Wedding since she saw Jack & Jennifer's on Days in the 80s...........but other than that........

She is aware he's the reason why Georgie is dead right? she does remember him all but calling her a quack when she treated Manny right? That the way Jason treated her was part of the reason why she and Patrick have had the exact same fight for three years right?

I know its GH and sadly Guza really does think that Jason is the reason for every person's blessed happiness but come on! And yes I am aware this is so we can have yet ANOTHER storyline be hijacked so its all about how unfair it is that Jason can't be with Liz even though he knows exactly what he has to do for that to happen and he just hasn't done a lick of it. But outside of the random insertion of Jason into Lulu's breakdown, this was one of the most glarringly obvious shoehorn JAson into this storyline scenes I think I have ever seen this show do.

AMEN to that entire post, Beth. I hate when they write Robin as a Borg worshipper. After what happened to Kate at her wedding, Robin (at least for her baby's sake) should want zero mob constituent present at her wedding. Sadly, because Guza has destroyed most of the original cast, they have to find an excuse to have them there because otherwise her wedding would be empty (and also it would be about Robin and Patrick rather than the happiness Jason denies himself...puhlease).

Just for the record, Robin and in many ways Mac are responsible for the person Robin is today. Yes, dating Jason after Stone died helped her move on, but she was the one who decided to attend Yale and then go to school in France. I hate this mysogynistic drivel that Guza spews.

I have a very short list of men that I think its totally cool of Robin to thank for shaping her in PART because yes she is her own person and did determine in own course in life before she gets married and could legtimately make the statement that it is very important to her that he attends her wedding. I'll even spot her Nik for his typical spotty friendship record with her and because I am desperate to have Scoprio/Spencer the next generation I would have ADORED such a scene with Lucky.

Don't forget Frisco who was also a big part of Robin's life as a child. Anna and Frisco worked together for years and F & F were really close with Robin.

It just pisses me off that Guza thinks that Robin owes Jason anything (including graditude). Additionally, he should show her some effing gratitude for basically treating him like his own person when no one else would. She also basically re-educated him. Unfortunately, she also sent him directly into Sonny's hands which I'm not going to call a good thing but it has been his livelihood for many years and also a profession which he obviously loves more than Liz and his child!

Sadly Jaynaynay that rumor has been around since oh the dawn of Guza's second coming. I think it does play a part but i also think Guza has blackmail pictures on everyone that is higher up than him because clearly viewers hemorraging and fans going gaga over Sri haven't had a dent of an impact except to make the show even MORE about Jason than it ever was before. It's like they aren't even hiding it any more........

So now Jason WANTS to get out of the mob but he can't..not because well the only true way to do that is to either leave town and change your name or die...but because he has obligations to CARLY?

The bottom line is if Jason really wanted to leave the mob, he would. Like he did for that month or so in 1998 with the bike shop. Which he did for Robin. And Michael. Constantly inventing new excuses in a pathetic attempt to get viewers to stop realizing the dude is a tool who will always put the business first over everything because that is just who Jason is.....will never happen.

Jason wont' walk away from the business because he doesn't want to. Heck you all gave him brain clusters and loss of memory for a second time and he still didn't really walk away from the business.

I actually thought the shower was pretty cute and considering everything that's happened between Robin and Patrick involving Jake's, I can see it being a fun idea.

However, my biggest gripe with the whole thing---WHY WAS MAXIE NOT PRESENT?

Since when is the Maid of Honor not in some way involved in the shower(s)?

Of course this ridiculous break Luly out of Shadybrook where she committed herself I might add, is complete ridiculous contrivance so that we can hear about what a selfless, brave girl she is. Oh this whole story line smells.

I love how they only trot out Kelly and Lainey when Robin needs her "girlfriends." Those two are so completely under-utilized on GH. I just don't get it.

I actually was enjoying the Cody-Lainey dynamic on NS (*ducks as other posters throw things at her*) and wish that they used these two a little more.

And lastly, I have now developed a Pavlovian reaction where my finger is automatically on fast-forward when Sonny, Jason, the Zaccharas (except when it's Ric and Claudia), and Carly appear on screen. Ugh ugh ugh!!! What effed up focus group are these writers listening to? Who in their right mind wants these guys to get even MORE screen time!

Guza, if you're reading this (and I doubt you are because that would imply that you care about GH viewers), for the love of God...RETIRE!

For some reason I'm still unsure of, I have been making an effort to like Spinelli (mostly because he's in Maxie's orbit and I love her) but I'm done trying. He gets on my last nerve and every time he opens his mouth I want to stick my fingers in my ears and scream "LALALALA" until he's done. They need to start writing him like a real person before Maxie has to become part of my FF as well. I said it on the blog and I will say it again: Maxie is 100% more likeable when she's away from him.
