The show requires something harder than tequila....I think we need to dive into the pier and find all those pills Lucky keeps throwing in their....apparenlty those pills are so awesome stuff. That might do the trick.

Even though there was much blatant Sonny and Jason propping, I actually enjoyed Friday's show.

1.) I enjoyed seeing a softer side of Diane (momentarily)
2.) I enjoyed Max inviting Sonny fishing - I laughed out loud several times during that scene
3.) Sam and Lucky in Mexico was a nice change of scenery
4.) Robin and Patrick were practically an after-thought, but I smile every time they are on screen together playing nicely, I can't help it
5.) Poor Spinelli doing so well at being cool, until Maxie showed up


Friday had a nice mix of characters I thought, it wasn't only the Sonny and Jason show for the first time in a long time. I expect things will be back to normal today, but until then, I will remain optimistic.

I seriously just mentioned doing a shot of tequila in the actors post because of Tristan Rogers' return to NS. If we are hitting the hard stuff, this show definitely stands out as motivation.

I've come to the realization that the people at ABC just don't care about their loyal viewers enough to change this show. I know I know, I should have known this ages ago, but it's really dawned on me. I'm feeling your pain Becca.

Anyone care to take a guess regarding the whole point of having Carly only THINK she's pregnant and tell everyone Jason is the father? I mean seriously...what the hey was the point?

My guess is because this show is a terribly written piece of garbage. Carly is awful.

although i fully realize the scene had actually jack to do with Robin and her baby issues...and had everything to do with his "secret" pain...good lord do we HAVE to inject Jason into every single last story on this show? Can't we have ONE jason free story? just one! Am i asking for too much?

Didn't round one of this mess happen in '98? I got it!!! It's the 10yr anniversary. LOL!!

I think Guza is going to start at the beginning of his storylines and continue to rewrite each one with the current characters because, why not? He can pretty much write and kill whoever he wants and get away with it. By 2010, the show will only be recognizable because Jason's facial expression will still be the same.

My husband has been having some health issues, so I temporarily lost my ride to the library for internet access.

My thoughts on the last few weeks:


Why torture viewers with a repeat of the Carly/Tony/AJ story? Especially if she isn't even pregnant?


Why are Patrick and Robin still fighting?


Why are Maxie and Johnny covering up an obviously self-defense death?


Where is Kin Shriner and Scott Baldwin?


What was the point of the whole quarantine story?

How come Sonny's "retirement" hasn't led to less screentime?

I shared your thoughts and here's the best I can do with them....

Because it was HIGH-larious. Only to be topped by Scrubs, The Office and Judd Aptow movies. Or at least I think that was written in magic marker on the bottom of my screen by Guza.

Becuase Guza loves to write the exact same conversation over and over again for a couple. They are ALL having the same conversation every time we see them.

More than likely because Guza does not realize that self defense is not something that only applies to Jason. And how can it be summer if we don't have an overarching story of murder?

In my mind he's just heartbroken over loosing yet another child and is declaring an underground war on the mob.....but I fully realize his abscence is to further the evil myth that Sonny, Carly and Jason are the most awesome parents around.

Because Sonny and Jason are totally the reason everyone watches...if they weren't on everyday we may have to concentrate on non-legacy people like Lucky....or Robin....or Patrick...or Nik....or Monica....or Edward.....you know...nobodies like that.

On a positive side - - I really thought Spinelli and Maxie were adorable yesterday - it's about time the geek gets the girl!

Hi All. Back for another fun-filled chat about our favorite soap. HAHA!!!

Let's see...who were the lucky ones to get the FF'd treatment last week.
1) I FF'd through a lot of Carly/Jax. I'm just tired of him sitting there, not moving. Jax, please leave this skank.
2) Scrubs-the fighting has stopped for now but because I am terrified it will start again, I FF'd anyway.
3) Sonny/Russian mob boss/Claudia-I would have watched the scenes if the new mob boss was hot.
4) Lewwww lewwww-Can't. Stand. Her.

I gave my FF'd button a rest for the following:
1) Sam&Lucky-loved the fake fight. It was too funny that Liz thought that it was about her. LOL!!!
2) Maxie-She could be talking to a wall and I would watch. Kirsten Storms is great.
3) Diane and anybody-loved what she told Sonny. Mood swings is right.
4) Carly&Claudia-I only watched it to see if I would have a deja vu moment. I did.
5) Jason-I know, I know. He really deserves FF'd treatment but his 'WTF' face is a thing of beauty.

Overall: Pretty Boring

This week is shaping up to be pretty exciting, but I can't help but wonder if Guza is having some imaginary race with himself to see how fast he can get through this death-cover-up story.


Things are moving oddly quickly in this story, while others are moving at snail's pace.


And why are there now more mobsters? why oh why?
