Just remember the CLOWN. Sakes alive, I was more freaked out by that episode than the unhotly angry vein that was constantly popping out of Patrick's head as he yelled at Robin every five seconds and then did the nasty with Broken Pearls of Unending Sadness.

Here read this...I can't process any more...I think I fell into Wonderland....they treated her like THAT and continue to pee all over the memory of Laura Spencer and Genie agrees to return?????

Seriously folks..what's your verdict on how they continue to get legitmately awesome stars to return? Blackmail? Voodoo? Hypnosis?

In all of the articles I have read about Genie's return she has said things about GH only wanting a short sweeps type relationship with the character and that she would love to stay but they aren't interested and that they only bring her back short term because of her fans. On one hand I am surprised she says that stuff but on the other hand I LOVE IT that she says it. It almost seems like it is getting so bad over there that the actors are just saying whatever they want to (like the truth) and not caring if it makes TPTB look bad. It is an interesting trend.

You have probably heard that one of my all time favorite GH actors, Rick Springfield, has a new album coming out on July 29. If you go to the Amazon page there is a cool video of him telling about the making of the album and you get to hear parts of the songs and soon they will have clips of all the songs there too. One of the songs is the one he is going to sing on GH or maybe he already has. I DVR so I am always a week or two or three behind...

You know Laura know that you've pointed it out...you're right it is happening with more frequency....and none of the actors I can think of that have spoken out have what one would call small fanbases...most are very very popular.....and pretty much shamefully underused and abused by TIIC. It's something to think about.

I just wonder if they get any crap about it from TPTB. Like on Genie's first day are they mean to her or do Finola and Greg get called in for a lecture or is it ignored. I would love to be a fly on the wall.

I know Greg has been called into Jill's office before...way back when he first started for comments that he made at PAs that later got reported on the internet....for awhile after that he did everything with "handlers" close behind him....and I'm pretty sure that was regarding giving out spoilers way far in advance, not snark about the show. (That is a fairly new occurance for Greg to be snarky. He's usually Poster Boy for "wow this show is awesome and I love everyone") So depending on the comments and how widely reported it became...it's possible that meetings have been had. (And Yes I admit I'm way too knowledgable about this to argue for my mental health)

Of course I am also of the opinion that all crappy storylines and out of character actions they often have to endure on this show is also consider punishment for making these comments as well. But I admit my paranoia.

Crappy storylines are also retaliation for refusing to shave I hear LOL

Remember when they killed off Joey's Days character on Friends because he said he wrote his own dialogue? I was always convinced that's how it really works on Soaps

"Write this!" LOL! Any day that can make me recall Dr. Drake Ramoray and "smell the fart" acting is a good good day......(I also recall how he lost his job the second time around telling SOD that he didn't have a favorite soap...he had a life.)

You know I hadn't considered bad stories as punishment for not shaving but it works.....I'll add it to the list.

And yes I totally did look at the list of FCW winners and go "oops. that person wasn't supposed to win that. Crap story for them coming up."

So I guess this means that Lucky Spencer is returning to storyline Siberia?

On the up-side, what could they possibly do to Tyler that's worse than tumor-Emily? (I don't really want to know the answer to that one)

Oh see since that win was for the MOST ROMANTIC STORY EVER....I'm sure nothing will happen to Tyler.....(You also can't convince me that Nik isn't a Guza pet in the wings)

But yes...storyline Siberia for Lucky it is. And Scrubs. (I know most everyone predicted it but come on...Guza not wanting Jason/Liz, Carly/Sonny or Sonny/Kate to win favorite couple?)

Well Josh Duhon (ex-Logan) did a PA over the weekend and apparenlty gave some VERY interesting information out....He apparently told the crowd since he was no longer under contract to ABC...he was going to answer ANY question they wanted....a must read for those who love Actor snark...

I don't know the whole story but I feel bad for Josh Duhon. I think it sucks that because of Guza's inability to be consistent with a storyline and also his lack of originality, another character with years of promise gets canned.

Him and Lulu were pretty much the center of attention last summer until the newest mob "it" boy came along. Not that I dislike Brandon Barash, but the show has plenty of room for these characters and Guza can't do anything new or original with this cast except mob mob all day, everyday. It's so frustrating and boring.

The show is pretty depressing right now, but the really depressing thing is what Junie said - - the future, the promise of days to come.

The most recent characters that Guza has killed off have all been youngsters in their 20s - - Emily, Georgie, Cooper, Michael, Logan - - what does that mean for storylines of tomorrow?
