I'm SOOOOO going to hell for this-but I must agree. I haven't been able to stand that kid since he and his wildebeast of a mother ate my show a decade ago.

I'd like to state for the record that my entire career has been about helping children....foster children, children at risk for substance use, children in juvenile facilities....but even with all my love for children..I have this to say....

Amen. I'm sorry to talk bad about a child but the actor is creepy and the character (through his mother mostly) has only caused the destruction of characters I previously adored just so those mob a**holes could be glorified. I'm not bitter though.


I agree that the only really bad part of losing him will be that it's more of an excuse to keep Sonny and Carly front and center.

You are so right! Cortney was killed off as she was getting more shrewy but Luly is definitely running away with the prize. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since they have ruined every character worth not ruining for the sake of the Evil Trinity but I just thought for one second JMB had a chance.

The chance has been long gone for awhile now, but watching her today it suddenly hit me that if they couldn't keep Cortney around, Guza didn't have a younger set girl to mold into Carly. YIKES. I have to stop watching this show.

The sad thing is, I look back on that as a good sweeps story for GH.

Okay, let me make this clear: I hate Sonny. HATE. More than I thought it was possible for a reasonably well-balanced human being to hate a fictional character. My hate for Carly is only slightly less white-hot. And I well admit that Dylan Cash - who I'm sure is a sweet, well-behaved boy in real life who will be quite grateful for his acting career come college time - has creeped me out as Michael from the very beginning.

That having been said...I can't wish Michael dead. Not because he's a child, but because, well...he's AJ's. And Alan and Monica's grandson. And Edward and Lila's great-grandson. And Tracy's nephew. And Robin's former de facto foster son. Yes, I know he's now a Corinthos. I know he's violent and somewhat unstable. But he's also the baby who rocked back and forth on his hands and knees as though he were going to start crawling, and then rolled back on his feet and started playing with his toes, just like AJ.

You know, if this show had any shred of real storytelling ability left, Michael would go into a coma and wake up aged, played by a different actor, and want nothing to do with Sonny and Carly any more. After recovering, he'd walk into the Quartermaine mansion and say, "Grandfather, I'm home, and I want POWER!" No, I have no hope/expectation of this happening...but wouldn't it be nice?
